Pay and Benefits

Required posters

You have the responsibility to notify your employees of their rights in the workplace.

Some of the laws administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, including those related to pay and benefits, require that you provide notices to your employees and/or post them in the workplace. The Labor Department provides free electronic copies of all required posters, and many are available in multiple languages.

It is important to note that you may not be covered by all laws administered by the Labor Department and thus may not be required to display certain posters.  For example, private-sector employers with fewer than 50 employees may not be covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act and therefore may not be required to display its associated poster.
