Alert: The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has resources to help employers and workers prepare for and respond to coronavirus in the workplace.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is committed to helping you ensure safe and healthful working conditions for workers by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education, and assistance.
Under the OSH Act, worker safety and health is handled either by federal OSHA or State Plans. State Plans are OSHA-approved workplace safety and health programs operated by individual states or U.S. territories. There are 22 OSHA-Approved State Plans covering both private sector and state and local government workers and seven State Plans covering only state and local government workers.
